fashbo’s first members. Anna, fashionfreak94 on fashbo, is clearly a natural when it comes to fashion design. Her fashbo’s always receive numerous positive comments and are stunning in their design and detail. Although Anna is still a tennager and yet to go to design school, you will read in the interview that it is her intention to enter design school leading to the world of fashion design. The crew at fashbo hopes she stays in touch as she learns and grows with her art. Based on the talent she has shown in the designs she has posted on fashbo, (all with no formal training), we eagerly anticipate what she will create as she enters formal design education!

1. Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? Can you draw fashion inspiration from where you live?
Hi, my name is Anna, I’m 15 years old and I live in Cologne, a big city in the West of Germany. I’m a very optimistic and crazy girl, who is always searching for new design inspiration. It doesn’t matter where I am, I always find something that makes me think about new skirts, dresses or other clothes and styles. When I’m in the city, I always see people wearing interesting clothes. These people inspire me into drawing something new, incorporating elements of what I noticed they were wearing.
2. What is fashion to you?
Fashion is my life. It’s everywhere around me and I love it very much. I can say I am an addict, because every time I see magazines and posters with models wearing awesome clothes, my heart starts beating fast. I have my own thoughts and my own taste that some people don’t understand. But I don’t really care about what other people say or think. For me it’s important to have my own taste and style.
3. How would you describe your personal style?
My own style is very different from most others. I like the rock and bohemian style which I mix together to create my own style from this combination. I prefer to be unique with my style so I tend to wear clothes most others would not wear. However, there is a side to me that can wear romantic clothes with flowers and warm colors like rosé and violet.
4. Describe your perfect outfit ensemble.
My perfect outfit ensemble: Skinny dark-blue jeans or leggings with a long white baby-doll, a blazer in black and some brogues in grey, finished off with pilot-glasses or ray-bans.
5. Name your favorite and least favorite past or present fashion trend/fad.
The 80’s were awesome. I liked the skirts the people wore on their bellies and the headbands on their forehead. The 80’s in many respects gained inspiration from the Hippie-style of the 60’s.
6. Your profile states that you want to become a fashion designer. Do you intend to study fashion design at school? If you do intend to go to school any thoughts on where you’d like to go?
Yes, I intend to study fashion-design at school. I’m studying hard in school now to get the chance to study fashion later. I thought about studying in Munich or in London, as I really like these places and I’d like to move to one of these cities someday.

7. The drawings you have posted to fashbo are beautiful. When did you first discover that you had a talent for drawing/designing beautiful clothes?
Thank you very much. I discovered my passion for fashion when I was 10 years old, which is when I started to draw people and their bodies. I started small and I didn’t expect it would evolve into drawing fashion. Drawing bodies and faces and body-structures bored me after my drawing skills improved, So I started drawing dresses and jeans which I really enjoyed. I became hooked on fashion design and my passion for it grows with every passing day.
8. The red carpet fashbo you posted is very popular on the site. Can you tell us how you went

about creating this design? Why do you think this fashbo is so popular?
I was dreaming about having a wonderful evening on the red carpet with many celebrities. So I also had to imagine the dress I would wear. I imagined my dress just like that and started drawing it. It took me about 2 hours, because there where some parts I didn’t like at first, so I erased and erased and after 2 hours I got it, the perfect red carpet dress! Every girl or woman dreams of wearing a wonderful dress at an event and I think maybe girls/women loved the way I drew this one which could explain its popularity.
9. Have you ever made any of the clothes you have designed?
Yes, I have already made T-shirts with animal designs, and a dress that I love too.

10. What is your favorite fashbo you posted? Do you have a favorite fashbo that someone else posted?
My favourite fashbo I posted is red dress and pearls, because it reminds me a lot of my favourite fashion-designer John Galliano. My favourite fashbo someone

else posted is, No Papparazzi Please, because I love the Trilby and the awesome skirt-design. Street high fashion also really looks nice. I like the mix with moonwashed-jeans, the beany and the fantastic shoes.
11. Who is your favorite designer or designers?
My favourite designers are John Galliano, Zuhair Murad and Balmain. Fashion designers with unique and creative designs and ideas.
12. What is your favorite retail place to shop? Online place to shop?
I like shopping in stores like H&M, zara, Vero moda and I also loved the shops in London in the Oxford Street.
13. What is your dream job?
My dream is to become a fashion designer. After I finish school I want to study fashion design and later have my own fashion label.
14. Were you able to learn anything from the last blog from Samira? If so what was it?
Yes, I really was able to learn many things from Samira. She is almost as old as me and we’re both young and we love fashion. Samira has her own style, that I really like and I’m happy she likes my designs. I also have to say I like her taste too.
